After being down for nearly a day, it is STILL NOT available for download. I just don't like the fact that all iOS product being the slaves of iTunes. (Now it is available for windows and still not for mac, apple fix mac things first!).
I never thought of iTunes, as the most essential software for all the iOS devices. I realized it, when I deleted iTunes due to sync issues and could not find a installable copy from Apple.com or any where.
Next time, download first, before deleting for re-install. :eek:
That IS the lesson, download first. But this is also a first, I have never been not able to download something from Apple.

I got bored last night around 1:30 AM, and drove past the apple store to chat with any campers, but there weren't any.
But, there were employees working in the store at that hour.

Regarding MAMP:
If I install in on a Mac which is on a LAN, can other computers on the same network access it or the sites it's hosting?
Can anyone confirm that people can't access it via the web as well? (Just want to be sure that I don't get it messed up or visible before I want it to go live.)

Anyone else notice that they use pictures of 4G iPods? Take a look Here (http://images.apple.com/support/ipod/elements/banners/ipod_foldericon.gif).
I find that interesting...why not use newer iPods?
I have an idea! Maybe the new iPod's are so new and good, they can't mess them up enough to get the sad iPod(or the folder icon)! Maybe CQ picked out all of the iPods before they got into the hands of the web division of Apple! Maybe they just weren't in the mood to take new pictures!

From the quotes in the article, it sounds more like the Samsung spokesperson was answering a direct question. At the very least, there's nothing in the quoted text to suggest anyone "throwing down the gauntlet". I suggest that incorrect metaphors are saved for sports coverage from now on. Seems like a pretty good choice. I didn't realize anything was beating the Vertexes, although it's been about a year since I went shopping. (The IBM's were always a little faster, but a lot more dollars as well.)

are you on 4.3? netfilx released an update for 4.3 today, might be the problem
I'm JB on 4.2.1. Display out works fine with the HDMI adapter. Netflix is the only app that has problems.

Raises some very interesting quesitons. Realistically, over the long run yearly updates probably aren't necessary. I don't think we'd reached that point though, but perhaps here we are. Maybe Apple will start updating them on longer, as ready cycles, and naming them something other than the year.

16 MP in a phone for what?
well I would say 16MP would be great for when I need to take a snap shot of someone homework or something posted somewhere. Easier to zoom in and read the text. But for taking good phoses I will take an SLR or a dedicated camera.
My 4MP digital camera from 7 years ago takes better photos than any camera phone I have seen no matter the Megapixels. But then again that camera does have better optics than any phone could ever have on it.

It could be as simple as that? There isn't anything that stands out as a concrete reason why it wouldn't work?
Should I try upgrading to leopard first and then Snow Leopard? I don't have the "upgrade disc" I have the full install one that came with my other Mac.
Get the 29 USD Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD. It will work. The DVD you have is model specific and will not work with other Mac models.

I have a white iPhone4, I have no issues with the sensor or drop of signal at all :)
I was waiting on the 5 but have always wanted a white iPhone, my 3GS is black and so far I'm very pleased indeed :D

in terms of the person who talked abotu a large campus, I know the pain, mine is a mile by a mile, and sometimes you need to haul ass from one end to another, the 17incher still doesn't bother me, but I guess that 's also cause i'm used to carrying around a 20lb bag. lol. So yeah I'm used to weight, in fact since the power book I've lessened what else is with me, so in the end the power book, though heavy, has got me carrying less weight

So I searched the forums and couldn't find any concrete information on this, but what are the rumors for iOS 5? Will it be compatible with the iPhone 4, and is it coming out in June at the conference? What has everyone heard?
