May I post a video along with some photos of a local S2K club that I was invited to their Dyno Day? The video is nothing special. Just a few pulls. Short video. I got tons of photos though :p
Please do! That type of stuff is totally welcome in this thread, but ESPECIALLY when it involves S2Ks. I'm seriously contemplating getting one this summer. I recently sold my Talon, and need a new project/fun/auto-x car, and have always loved the S2Ks. Can't wait to see what you have.

So posting faults makes one a troll?
Nice place, this (was better and less abusive before Apple released the iDevices). :(

Most paste can take up to a week or two to take it's full effect.
second that. takes a bit for everything to line up and get useful.
mmm - Geekbench score 732. woohoo
temp is sitting at around 46-47 degrees C or 117 degrees F at idle. A bit better than before the MX-2 paste.
Lets see what 2Gb of ram does
sounding good so far. i would think those temps would come down a bit more after getting set. the fans at 12v (with quiet fans) is a good idea to move as much air a possible, as long as the noise is not a problem of course.
more ram will make everything better, but will also raise the ambient temps in the case as ram does get warm.
can't wait to see how it all ends. and pics. :)

Not sure if I could manage the drive to trafford centre, and the queuing...but it somehow feels a bit wrong to go to PC world at 9 and buy one from some staff who dont even care?
Ramble Ramble - anybody else going to pc world to avoid queues?

That's an even sillier statement.

I think we should try to keep the software listed here just to whats flat-out free. Perhaps if someone wants, we can start a second thread to the tune of Not Exactly Free, But Worth It! Software. As a general rule, any software with a trial period isnt free, so we should probably keep it out of this thread in order to keep with the threads theme. (And BTW this isnt directed at anyone in particular.)
So lets keep it up, guys! What other free software you do like? :)
Fair enough. The easiest way to do this would be to have the thread description changed to, "best Freeware,".

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.

How can anyone see this as great news?
its an UPGRADE...not a transfer, not a conversion, not a migration...an UPGRADE.
For Apple Upgrade = $$$. Simply put, we're probably once again going to be shafted by an idiotic $100 /year fee for a slow iDisk replacement...think I'll stick with S3 for now!

Someone call the WAAAAA-Ambulance.....
The emailer is most likely an early adopter who feels cheated...
So is this guy going to write to Steve Jobs every time he finds an iPad on eBay for $100 less than retail? How about 1 auctions?
If TJ Maxx got their hands on enough stock who the F cares and go pick one up if you want one! I'm personally waiting for Gen 2 with FaceTime.

Good thing the screensaver password dialog is the login window itself (even the same exact process) in Lion then, huh?
Good only if it does not carry over the hang bug from old code base ;)

But that is the problem. Instant messaging has been on phones for over two years. Why would they want to sell a phone on instant messaging if everybody pretty much already has a phone with IM already? There's no reason to buy it if they're going to advertise a feature people already have it on their phones.
And how exactly is IM faster than texting?
just seems to me that people are acting like its a feature that shouldn't be on a phone rather then one that is almost standard. it also just seems that IM's are quicker conversations then texts, but maybe i'm wrong about that cause on phones it's pretty much the same thing.
Yes, especially on the tiny keypad on a phone? At best, the iPhone might have a slid-out keypad, which won't make IM-ing any faster than texting.
yea, but i think that if they do a full tiny keyboard, they will be going for something similar to a sidekick. the sidekick 3 was a major let down.

Monthly Desktops Guidelines:
For large images use [timg] rather than [img]
Use attachments when necessary so images don't disappear when they are removed from their source
When possible, include links to the full-sized original so others can download them. If you don't want to share, state that in your posts so others don't continue to ask for links.
When quoting a post with images, remove the images to reduce clutter
Please report any posts you feel need attention by clicking on this icon: .

Is that iTunes up in the menu bar? If so, how?? :)

figured I would go ahead and start a thread to see what the locals are doing for the launch on Friday.
I plan on being there around 2pm and looking to score two 16GB 3G iPad's
What is everyone else doing?

Yes. This goes to show you how smart JB users are.. They actually instill apps that disable functionality of their phone.
