I don't run it any more as it apparently rips hard drives and I couldn't be bothered setting up the RAM disk method. It also turns my G5 into a bit of a wind tunnel some times.

BS. Where are you getting your info? The CPU does all the work, the HD only stores the info crunched to send back to SETI. I am coming up on my 1st yr anniversary and no problems. My main machine is the G3/300, 6 yrs old and still purring like the day it was new. Just make sure you have a good air flow through the box and everything will be fine. It is the peps that use PowerBooks that burn up your machine, probably because they don't raise it off the table to get air underneath it. I use 1/2" rubber feet and a small desk fan blowing across the unit to cool my PowerBook the fan hardly comes on. My temps never exceed 109�F in my G3.

Did I mention that updates are ones and zeros and have no actual weight. MB refers to the number of ones and zeros in groups of eight. Numbers don't actually weigh anything, so you probably shouldn't write this same trite phrase every time you want to mention how big a file is.

Yep, I said non-slim. Reason being, I have a smaller shoulder bag for it on a day to day basis. But the bag doesn't hold much. So if I want to take it in my book bag, either of the bags I have, have larger pockets for laptops.

So I either am looking for a case that is hard and larger, or a book bag with a better (smaller) pocket for a thin laptop.

I've spent hours on Google but I keep finding the manila carrying case for example...I don't want something like that.

Its now 9.50 and the queue is forming well infront of the Apple store,touchwood. I have heard rumours abound that white models are limited and iPad stock isn't as many here as the bigger london stores, so if your planning to be a late comer cancelled your meetings, leave work early or just cry off ill, because your going to be waiting in line a long time and your going to be very angry if stock has gone. people started turning up near 6.30am and the line is getting bigger.

I think I got what you want, but unfortunately I tweaked a little here and there too much and so I'm not completely sure what all I changed. I'm attaching a screen shot of the result in Firefox 4 RC1. As a note, the page doesn't look right in Opera 11. The background gradient color on the body is what's off.

Here's the aside, which was the crucial part. This is only what I added to the existing styles.

I used to love playing crystal quest on my MacPortable.

I'm sure you are running some AfterDark screen savers as well.

Does anyone remember the "Barney Blaster" screen module?
I was NOT allowed to play that in front of my young nieces/nephews back then.

The batteries last a long time once they are charged. They can sit for a long, long time and they don't lose their power. I will try to get some shots running After Dark, I have it installed on my M5126. The Fish module is great!!

I tried all suggestions in this thread and the song still won't play on Mac's IE or Firefox. It is not just my computer that won't cooperate, it is also the client's computer.

Try this link... http://www.saucedesigns.com/sauce.html (warning - the song will immediately play when you load this link... it is designed to be a pop-up that is initiated by the customer... so they don't have to listen if they don't want to!)

You will see how the song plays on Mac's Safari, but not IE/Firefox. It plays just fine on IE/Firefox for PC, so it isn't a browser-specific thing, it has to be a Mac/PC thing. Right?

Define your mime type in .htaccess...If that doesn't work, call your host and they may be able to update the settings..
