I am JBARRETT recepient but I got my stuff cahsed the otehr day at TSC. I guess the late was because of the tranfser of cases from NSC to TSC and nothing to do with BARRETTTT!!!!!!!!!!

I got similar letter for my SR regarding EAD. After I got this letter, my EAD was approved in 80 days. My EAD was pending for more than 270 days when my lawyer opened an SR. I got my EAD exactly after 365 days.
I am sure somebody is working on your case.

I have a 4 yr degree + approx 7 yrs experience before joining current company in US.My labor required a bachelor+5 yr progressive experience and did not mention about Masters.
140 filed under EB2.
I recently received RFE .In one of the point the officer has mentioned that the classicfication requires advanced degree and has asked me to submit academic record for advanced degree in addition to transcript+credithours+attendence for bachelor degree.
I have been thinking that bachelor+ 5 yrs experience is ok for EB2.But now i am confused.
Pls throw in some light.

USCIS can't keep track of applications they receive..:)
Every document they want they "REQUEST" from you.
W2, paystubs this is basic stuff dude..
If you don't have them, there's less certainity.. but this is funny process, people have gone thro' easier on lesser evidence.. !So nothing is a dead-ender if you are lucky..
In normal cases though.. I think IF (and that's a big IF) you get an RFE, you will have hard time proving A2P but then again maybe your employer is big and has enough profits etc to prove A2P .. so don't loose heart.. but I would advise to just change to a good employer instead of working in this messy situation to get 1 or 2 yrs advantage on PD

I would think the last name Gonzalez would also be like the last name KIM for Koreans..there could be hundreds of Gonzalez at USCIS!

this is a very good idea..but theres only one problem..we had gone to a blood donation drive to give blood..but were not allowed to because they do not take blood from people who have visited third world countries like India in the past 3 yrs.
so we can organise a campaign like this..but blood can be donated only by people who havent visited any third world countires in the past 3 yrs.

Well, doing it on my own isn't a problem. It's just that my employer is a behemoth and has ironclad policies.
Having said that, filing fees for EAD extension are $340 and for AP $305 per applicant, right?
Now I'll try my best to get EAD/AP extended either by me or the employer but if that doesn't happen (say my employer says it's our policy for you not to do it on your own), will a gap in EAD/AP create problems?

I am in the same boat with you.
485 package was delivered by UPS on NSC and the tracking number shows it delivered on the morning of June 08.
However, until this moment there is still no receipts annd check is not cashed.
As Canadian_Dream suggest, we just have to wait a little more time and if still no result, I will submit another copy for the application.

You can't maintain H-1B status while physically residing in India. But, you can still have your GC process running.
An absence won't be of any consequence as long as the visa is valid and you are employed by the same employer.

Bill Gates testified in front of most of the important senators who wrote this bill. Even he could not make a difference. There is nothing in this bill he had asked for.
Not IV or Lobby group that IV has, can it really make a difference? There is as much as we can do and everything else becomes uncontrolable. Even IV core group are normal people like us but with connections more than us. But they have their own regular job to do as well.
So I guess we can only try calling the senators and hope they will change their mind and hope for the best. Expecting and/or trusting IV or Lobby group will really help would be sacrificial.

The Senate and the house may be passing the tax refund bill soon (due to slowing economy). There is lot of pressure on the government to act soon.
Can we get them to attach atleast one of our provisions with these bills - the most important and non controversial being recapture of unused visa numbers.

We should definitely try (in addition to writing letters).
Can we get some more information about this bill? Who are the key players supporting/pushing it, who/how do we contact to try and push some of these reforms?

Since I did my master's here. I think they filed my case under EB1...I need to re-check. If this is the case then how long does it take. Yes I'm an indian.
I doubt if a Masters qualifies for EB1. But if you filed under EB1, then you should be able to file I485 immediately as that category is CURRENT. Check and confirm the category your employers filed and post your question again.

Thanks jsb....I didn't know this....But I think its still better if I wait for 140 approval...Then atleast one other uncertainty will be removed from my GC journey...Hopefully it would only take a month or two more than normal processing time for my 140...If it gets delayed further, then I might use it anyways..It's nice to know though that I have an option..Thanks again
