One thing that is important to investors is the ranking of units shipped (in comparison to other companies.) Apple is currently 4th behind Gateway -- but VERY close!! Q4 2006 should bring Apple to the 3rd place for US shipments in America, behind Dell and HP. That will turn a lot of heads. My experience getting my wisdom teeth out was much the same as everyone has described. The weirdest part has got to be how you don't feel the passage of time at all from the moment you are sitting on the chair and lose consciousness, and the next moment when you're lying down in the recovery room.
Normally when you sleep you are still somehow aware of how much time you have been asleep... you can wake up at 3:00am and realize you haven't slept very long, or you can wake up at noon and realize you've way overslept. Not so when they have you under.
It actually made me really appreciate the power (and danger) of date rape drugs... if this is what happens, you really wouldn't be aware of anything.

It would be nice if Apple focused on getting airplay to work well within their own devices. I'm tired of dropping music from itunes or my iphone to my AE. It pisses me off because I purchased the AE with the sole intent of using it for airplay.

So that's 1 piece of hardware from E3 on my list. Bring it on Sony & Nintendo. Oh and whilst I like the look of kinetic / natal, the line up of launch titles reads like every mediocre wii game we all run 500 miles away from.

I think some of you are confused as to what �Carrier preferences� means. It�s not saying anything about which iPad is selling better. All it says is which iPad people would �like� to have. It doesn�t even mean which they �do� have. (AT&T iPad owner might want the Verizon one because of the bad service). So a AT&T iPad user �may� show under the Verizon numbers. Also its no shock the AT&T iPad is harder to acquire. Its most likely due to customers being �use� to the company. (example: mom buying her son an ipad will go to AT&T if they have AT&T phones.)
Remember a good deal of iPhone customers are still AT&T customers. So when they bought their iPad why not just by the AT&T one. So since the mass �I� users are already with AT&T it only makes sense that that iPad would sell better. Also understand that not all AT&T customers hate AT&T.

I don't understand why T-Mobile is using 700/2100 instead of 2100 up and down. The iPhone and other handsets support 2100 but not 700.
because the 700 spectrum has theoretical data speeds much higher then the "standard" spectrum.
my family has been happy with t-mobiles service where we live for over 6 years and there rates are very affordable.
The only reason i went to ATT is because of the iPhone and if the iphones does come to t-mobile i will be switching back.

I think most do, even those who aren't conspiracy theorists. But it doesn't alleviate the fact that what you said remains true. The question is, do you want that type of control hovering overhead for a gadget that would make life easier? If someone had a million dollar motorcycle made for you but later they said, I get to watch you wherever you go. And you were uneasy about it, but loved the speed and the adrenaline rush of the ride and said to yourself "well I'll be obeying the speed limit anyway" so you let it go and kept the bike. Soon you found out they weren't just watching you when you were riding, they watched you wherever the bike was. Therefore, regardless of speed limit and adherence to the law, you were still monitored. A little creepy huh? Lol. :D

More and more TVs are being sold as "Internet Ready." The problem is, on most of them the implementation and user experience is horrible. Half of them require a CAT5 wired connection to your network. And the other half need optional Wi-Fi adapter. Most consumers have neither the time, skill, nor patience to buy, install, and configure them.
Then there is the issue of usability. It is awkward and time-consuming to try and navigate text boxes using most TV remotes.
Apple licensing AirPlay as a means of letting TVs show YouTube content, plus stream photos, music, and video content on your home pc or iPad/iPhone would be a tremendous feature for TV makers to sell.
The interesting question would be whether or not Apple licensed AirPlay to device makers of Android or Windows phones and tablets. This seems much less likely.

A good selling point would have to be how fast you can put on your music. My sister's Treo is painfully slow at that.

The Treo, like most music phones, use media cards. If you use a USB media card reader instead of a sync cable, it should sync at USB 2.0 speeds. No need for FireWire. That's how I put music on my SonyEricsson phone.
