That's a lot of rack space! Considering the high density NL series is probably the type of node being spec'ed, that's at least a good 10 racks completely filled with equipment. That's excluding network gear.

VW figured out that bigger sells better in the mid-size four door sedan market, so they bumped it up. They decontented a bit, and they also moved production to the US (http://www.autoblog.com/2011/01/09/2012-volkswagen-passat-chattanooga-vw/). I guess VW has decided to move from "affordable German luxury" back to "The people's car".
It's a shame, really, because they are removing the very qualities that would make me shop for a VW. I would prefer a Golf though. As I said above, I wonder if Golf will maintain its more European character, or if it too will be dumbed-down and upsized.

What exact external HDD do you connect via what interface (USB & Firewire) to what exact Mac with what exact Mac OS X version?
And what do you mean with "it won't repair" via Disk Utility? Can you provide more info for that?
Have you tried an SMC reset yet?

i'm in the UK (North Wales), Ordered mine just under a week ago, it should be here in 2-3 hrs according to UPS' website, can't wait!! it's engraved too, so am very suprised i'm getting it this soon.
Was expecting my mac pro yesterday, but cancelled the order due to news of upcoming 8-core, so unfortunately the first thing my shuffle will have contact with is a Windows iTunes installation (7.0.2 installing as i speak).. like driving a brand new car through some dirty back road, rather than a smooth coastal highway.
iTunes installed, needs windows to restart, WTF.. stupid windows. :p

Those people on whom Apple will have to rely on in the future for buying their products.
I'm pretty sure that the move to the Intel platform was mere than availibility of a power5 portable. Apple really wants to push forward in the corporate market and needs enterprise apps like Notes.
So in short, I'm one of those who gives. :mad:

Why not? The USA for example has only 4 million miles of roads. A car with driver + passenger + some decent equipment should be able to map say 10 miles per hour, at a cost of $50 per hour. 200 cars for a year, that's 20 million dollars. And then you have a database that you can sell, and that you can use everywhere. Then write an iPhone app that lets users make corrections, lets businesses add their locations etc. and you are ready.
You could just buy a TomTom for $150 and have all that, already.
Apple should just roll their own.
They have the power, the talent, the size, and certainly the scale, to go their own way with an excellent chance of success.

Hi ,I'm Wulfii and I am new here and I hope you guys can help me with my problem I ended up here whilst trawling for a solution to my problem.
I cannot shuffle tunes in a playlist I have tried and tried , I have created playlists but the same song keeps playing, I know it works because it did -Once-and I can't seem to get it to work I await a solution please .

After recently watching Tron Legacy in the movie theater, I loved how the different soldiers and those who wore helmets sounded with their voices modified. Is there a program available that could help me replicate that with my own voice? Their voices sounded very electronic.

When you take forever to get the phone on VZW you should expect people to take their time switching.
First, you've let Android have all that time to get a following because it's the only alternative for the lack of an iPhone. Those people have also bought apps that they now enjoy and would have to re-purchase on the iPhone. This happens with video game systems as well.
Second, people are in 2yr contracts. There are very few people who are willing to pay more for a phone they can buy 4 months later at half price on top of the termination fee.
Third, not that many people hate AT&T it's just the handful of VZW fans that make it look that way.
And finally you have the reporting and reviews. All the reports I saw were telling VZW people and potential switchers to hold off on getting the iPhone 4. No 4G, no white and still had the questionable signal issues. The "iPhone 5" was supposed to come out mid to late summer so people were concerned Apple would sell them a phone and then jump up 6 months later with the newer, thiner, better version and leave folks hanging.
People are paying attention to these reports and that's why I feel the numbers were low.

Is there a solution for Hamachi yet ?
The HamachiX Client won't work because parts of it rely on PowerPC processes, which are not supported by 10.7.

The cost of this equipment will have to come down substantially before i even think about adopting it, i am not going to pay $50 for a disc and $1500 for burner, a quarter of that and i may be able to stomach it. I have encoded all my DVDs and put them on my mediagate player, when these become cheaper i can actually back them up:o
