If we turn up in lower numbers - media will ignore. Rallies happen everyday in DC - and media wont bother unless numbers are huge or there is a fight or something.

Hi,
My labor was approved recently but i am not sure wheather it is approved under eb2 or eb3.Attorney is trying to keep me in dark and saying every time you have to contact to your employer only we will not provide the details.My employer is saying your is eb2 in oral only,but when i am trying to ask him in email he is calling to me and saying your's category is eb2 only.Can you guys help me out how to find it out my category is eb2 or eb3,and he send me a pdf document,it is saying
the department of labor has made a determination on your application for permanent employment certification(ETA form 9089) pursuant 20 CFR �656.24 and as required by the immigration and nationality act,as amended.
Form ETA 9089 has been certified and is enslosed.This certification must be attached to the I-140 petition and filed with the appropriate office of the united states citizenship and immigration services(USCIS).
Can some one please help me to find my case is wheather it is EB2 or EB3?

Increasing H1B quota may not be the good choice, US Economy needs stability in immigration, immigrants should be issue with GreenCards for pending AOS and thereby people can invest to buy house and stay in this country.

IMO conventional is always better unless you are buying a condo. Few people stick with their loan long enough to recoup the cost of the initial mortgage insurance.

Can someone please clarify with AC21 can I take up a job Position as "IT PROJECT MANAGER 11-3021.00" whereas my EB3 Labor is filed as "Computer Programmers - 15-1021.00" ?
My I-485 is still pending past 180 days and I-140 is approved.

hi there is a clause "same or similar field", so as per shiela murthy, ron gotcher and prashanthi reddy, as long as you are in a IT related job its ok, you cannot go from IT to healthcare or cross fields.
so you are safe.
But find out from your attorney if it is mandatory to file Ac21, because as long as i know, some attorneys say not to file it, as it just causes more confusions. But find out if it is legal not to file Ac21.

I only meant some provisions(relating to 7% country quota). This is already discussed by Gravitation in this forum. Sorry for the confusion. AC21 is congressionally mandated. USCIS can only interpret it and come up with an implementation as per the law. They cannot deviate much.

Ur RD is dec21st.Now according to nsc processing date they r processing jan1st 2007 cases.So wait till next update if u didnt get before that u ask ur lawyer or employer to open SR.i dont think there is any paper work for that.They need to call and talk to IO and open.but i donno the procedure so check with quizzer.

This is Off-Topic, sorry about that, but this is the best forum i could think of to ask this:
My father-in-law is visiting us from India, and he is thinking of driving a car here. He drives in India and I think in a couple of weeks (with maybe 2-3 classes with some instructor) he should get the hang of driving. Are there any risks that anyone knows of with this? (if he makes a mistake and ends up in an accident I understand that we end up being personally liable and can even be sued if there is an injured party).

Mine rec date is july 2nd and notice date july 27th. Have got EAD, but not AP yet. Though I noticed two LUDs on my AP, 10/24 and 10/25

I had received RFE. They received the response for RFE on 08-01 for which there was LUD on 08-01. There was another LUD on 08-03. another one on 08-04. The status reads: "On August 1, 2008, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. My friend is going back to India next month. He filed for 485 in Aug 2007, PD April 2003 EB3 India. Is there a way to continue the Green Card process while he is in India ?. Is there an option where the employer can state that the employee is on temporary transfer to a different country and not loose the current Green Card application ?. Greatly appreciate any thoughts or insights.
