....the war was perfectly justified.
Not that war is ever justified ....
War is only a "bad" or "illegal" thing it seems when it's happening to you.....
Your thinking seems to contradict yourself back and forth.
Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?
I'd say you're totally wrong in trying to justify Japan's war of expansion

Disctop Light (http://www.mekentosj.com/disctop/)Normally when you insert a CD in your Mac it disappears, but where does it go? They simply pop up on your desktop! After installing Disctop, your inserted CD or DVD slides in from the side and neatly fades back into your desktop picture. Now you always know if there's a disc inside, and what type it is.The lite version is free.
I learned about it from forum member Lau.

I have no idea. That's how it's always been for me. I assume it uses the plist converter from Xcode. What versions are you running? I'm using path finder build 1045, Xcode build 4b33a, and OSX build 11a444d.
Ah well, I don't have Xcode installed on my macbook. It's installed on my iMac. Maybe that's why it isn't using the strings converter from Xcode.
I'll check it when my iMac comes after repairs.
Somebody must do a grep in PrivateFrameworks or root (/) to find more instances of the same.
sudo grep -r MobileMe / > ~/grepMobileMeRoot.txt
sudo grep -r Castle / > ~/grepCastleRoot.txt
I have found a lot of instances; may be you can decode them better through this strings converter.

I'm an Apple fan, but the truth has to be told: a) 3.5" is TOO small to be practical. I have a Motorola DEFY with a 3.7" display, and even then, the on screen keyboard is not large enough in portrait mode, at least 4 to 4.3" is vital. A larger display is also easier on the eyes when reading lengthy texts. b) Lack of camera shutter release is a major and idiotic decision. You cannot take self portraits, further it is not possible to simply pick up the phone (as you can with some Android and even WP7 handsets) and press the camera button to fire up the camera and shoot away without needing to hit an icon on the 'desktop' first. c) Lack of standard MicroUSB port means having to rely on Apple cabling - forget the cable and you're hosed if no one else has one. d) Call quality is not good enough for serious use due to the design flaws. Yes, it may be a superb gaming and multimedia phone, but I know many people with iPhones and have owned a 3GS, and when talking to them, the call quality is not as good as other brands, further, they lose signal more easily. (Here in the UK.) e) Reliance on iTunes is another hindrance. You feel chained to your main computer. With an Android phone, you are liberated.
Again, I'm an Apple fan, I have an iPad and desktop Macs, but the design flaws in all iPhone models have made that platform too much of a liability.
Let's hope iPhone 5 features ThunderBolt, a larger display, a dedicated camera shutter release and that iOS 5 removes iTunes from the equation.
Consumers are getting savvy thanks to the enlightenment (and lower cost) that Android delivers. Google are keeping Apple in check, and that's good for us consumers!

Now if this guy is not leaving to retire. Then RIP Apple. Seriously, if Apple thinks I want my computer to resemble an overgrown iPad then they can loose my money and I'll be buying an Alienware.
Microsoft seem to be the only ones that still get computers? Apple has done brilliantly as well but I really do worry that they have an itch to dumb them down to ridiculous levels!!
Then again...... perhaps the man is leaving because he just is not comfortable with the talk from other employee's about where they want to take Apple after Mr Jobs leaves which is no doubt going to be very soon. I have a feeling they want to go in an entirely new direction..
IMO you don't leave a massively successful company after 22 years without a reason unless your retiring.
If you have been "massively successful" as an individual you have the freedom, and often desire, to pursue other environments and things.

You guys are hysterical.
Yup, and even counting all those devices, Apple is absolutely flattening Android.
Once again, for those keeping score at home:
Apple has the most popular OS
Apple has the most popular handset
Apple has the most profit
Apple has the most apps
Apple has the most developer revenue
Yeah, Android is really sticking it to iOS!
350k phones sold a day omg!

Okay, this one I doubt....why would you want to tie a phone into iChat? Instant messaging is on almost or available to every phone sold within the last 2 years or so. I don't see why that would bee something Apple would want to advertise when a lot of run-of-the-mill phones can do it.

I hope this means we will see HDMI out on the next MacBook Pros. I really want to be able to use my soon-to-be-had MacBook Pro Core2Duo as a media center too. With that said, here's to hoping the new MBPs have HDMI and the ability to output Dolby PLII and at least 1080i. My current 1.25ghz G4 book chokes on 720p so I never hook it up to my plasma HDTV.

I'm still not convinced that Blu Ray is going to beat out HD-DVD.

Philalbe, based on what you've said, he sounds like someone you really don't want to be doing business with. In the end, the pay would have to be a lot better than that for it to be worth all the stress.
If I can offer you just a little bit of advice, having run my own business for quite a number of years, it would be this Firstly, you're charging WAY too little. I did too when I started out. That's why this guy back-pedalled IMO, not because he's a nice guy, but because he realises that no one else will do the quality of work you're doing at this price. I could be wrong, but he sounds like some people I've seen before. He knows you're a bit green in business, and he'll take advantage of it to save every penny he can, hence the line that 3 hours is all he can afford. You have to be confident in your service and your prices and set them accordingly. If he values the service you offer, he will pay the price. If not, he'll go in search of the next person gullible enough to pay what he's offering, and he will. This kind of person places no value in establishing long-term business relationships and he offers very little value to you and your business.
I know you're only starting out and you're keen to get any work you can, but in the long term it's going to bite you because a lot of the customers you're establishing now at this price are going to start taking it for granted. I don't know what the going rates are in your area, but you need to find out. I'll bet you people are charging upwards of 4 or 5 times that amount.
Good luck! :)

Yeh, we use Notes at work too. Most every week we have to replace 3 ".dat" files or the thing won't even start up. But, then, it's not running on a Mac.
I'd love to see a list of big companies (in NYC) that use Macs. Really! :D

That is false. Even lawyers agree that 100% certainty is impossible. That is why we have the term "reasonable doubt". The 5 men wrongly sentenced to death in Ohio went through what was supposed to be an exceptionally thorough legal process, yet it still failed them.
Ok, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt the arizona shooter is guilty, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt the connecticut home invaders are guilty, explain to me how there is any reasonable doubt that someone who fully confesses to their crime is guilty. Your argument is nonsense.
Don't labor under the illusion that I or anyone else cares what you think. Frankly I do not. You've added nothing to this discussion but emotional responses and baiting, after which you've abandoned what is clearly a lost cause. I think that speaks for itself.
If your idea of a discussion is everyone agreeing with your view, then yes that's exactly what i've done. I don't care about what you think either, your opinion is in the minority anyway so i'm in good company.
Stalin, Gaddafi and Kim Jong Il would agree. You're in good company there.
I see what you did there.

You're right. Ideally they wouldn't need my info. In the grand scheme of things, I personally trust Apple more than I trust most other companies. I also expect to have a continuing long-term relationship with them, that includes person-to-person services in addition to sale of products. I also prefer to have a single point-of-contact I can use to sever any relationships I don't want to continue.
So for me it comes down to "who do you trust?" Apple has, historically, been very good about not subscribing me to mailings I don't want. They also never have sold my info (I know this because I use a different email address in a domain I own for every on-line business I do business with. From this I know who, exactly, sells my info. I just look at who my spam is addressed to).
There are quite a number of companies I trust in addition to Apple (a lot of local ones). I cannot remember to ever having received spam from Google (not that I trust them in everything but in this regard they have been good).
