Ajay Devgn and Esha Deol clash..!

After Pankaj Kapur decided to postpone the release of Mausam to September 9, Singham was supposed to be the solo release on July 22. However, now the Ajay Devgan-starrer will face some competition from Esha Deol’s comeback venture, Tell Me O Kkhuda.

Earlier, Tell Me O Kkhuda was scheduled to release around September. But Hema Malini was quick to realise the fact that she should not take the risk of releasing her daughter’s comeback movie with the likes of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Mausam and Rockstar. The decision to pre-pone the release date was taken after a meeting between Hema Malini and the film’s co-producers. It was felt that Tell Me O Kkhuda is a family drama film whereas Singham is an action flick. Both the films, being of different genres, have the potential of attracting their desired audiences.

Hema is quoted as saying: “We are trying to work our way into July 22. The other film (Singham) is completely different from ours. After that Ramzan starts and then for Eid there are other big films lined up. So we would have to wait for September if we don't release on July 22.”

So, is it a smart move to clash a comeback movie with Ajay’s much awaited movie? Well, time will tell you oh Esha.

Esha flops, its time for "Ahana Deol"

Better late than never! Hema Malini’s young daughter Ahana Deol enjoyed keeping herself away from the limelight. But not any more. The beautiful girl isn’t shy to face the camera, and mama dearest as well as didi Esha Deol makes sure she gets the right launch pad.

Earlier, it was heard that Ahana will be doing a film to be directed by the Udaan fame Vikramidtya Motwane. Now, reports have it that Ahana is considering playing Juliet in the maverick director Aparna Sen’s film, to be produced by Hema Malini and Esha Deol.

Though Esha’s relaunch vehicle Tell Ne Oh Khuda is into the making for quite some time, the eldest daughter of Dharmendra and Hema is quite gung-ho about turning producer for her sweet sis Ahana. It’s learnt that during the filming of TMOK, Esha got interested in the art of movie making, and like an avid learner tried to grasp the production knowledge.

As for now, Aparna Sen is busy in scripting the film and didn’t say a word about it, reports a daily.

Ahana, besides participating with mother Hema Malini in various Odissi dance programmes across the country, also owns a designer label. She has studied advertising and initially wanted to try her hands on direction. She has even written a film script.
