"All is well between Malaika and me", says Arbaaz

Rumour mills have been abuzz with news that all is not well between actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his gorgeous wife Malaika Arora Khan.

It has been reported that the husband and wife have had a nasty brawl after which Malaika has moved out of their house to staying with her mother.

However, Arbaaz has rubbished any such thing. The Khan says, "I don't understand where all this news comes from. Everything is well between me and my wife. This is just a ridiculous rumour. We are like any other healthy couple and people should just be concerned about what we do professionally and not interfere in our personal lives."

Arbaaz is not unaware that rumours about a celeb's personal life make for the juiciest gossips. But coming hard on the ones behind churning out such gossips, he said, "I just hope these gossip mongers rest in peace. Why don't they understand that rumours about such personal and critical issues are very disturbing for an individual and his family?" he questions.

The doting husband in him is furious as he declares, "What happens in my private life is not for public consumption. It's sad how we (celebs) are subjected to give a clarification about our personal lives and the integrity of our relationship every time. And if ever we try not to react or comment; it still puts a question mark on us."

Though Arbaaz is someone who ignores reacting to stupid rumours, he couldn't stay away from clearing the air over his and wifey's relationship. "I and Malaika are very much together. There is no such situation between us that would cause her to move out. Kindly ignore this gossip," he signed off.

"Shalu ke thumke ki duniya deewani" - Mallika

In what seems like an open challenge at the throne of the two hottest Bollywood item queens, Mallika Sherawat danced to an item song at Yashraj Studios, whose words blatantly mocked Katrina and Malaika's twin triumphs.

Mallika sang, "Munni bhi maani aur Sheila bhi maani, Shalu ke thumke ki duniya deewani."

Apparently the "Munni" and "Sheila" choreographer was approached to do Mallika's "Shalu ke thumke." But Farah Khan begged off, saying she only choreographs for very close family friends.

According to a source, the lyrics were originally quite different for the song.

"By openly singing that she's better than 'Munni' and 'Sheila,' Mallika is sending out a clear signal to the entertainment industry. It was Mallika who wanted the Munni-Sheila element incorporated into the song. Composer Anand Raj Anand modified the tune accordingly," the source said.

"Mallika wants to position herself as the No.1 item queen of Bollywood. She feels her 'Maiyya maiyya' in 'Guru' came long before 'My name is Sheila' and 'Munni badnaam.' This year she has already performed two item songs and is open to more," added the source.

What's more, her image as the tantrum queen is now a thing of the past. While shooting for "Munni bhi maani Sheila bhi maani", Mallika was the epitome of good behaviour.

Charmi to shake as Munni

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is producing the remake of Salman Khan‘s Bollywood Blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ under his own banner Creative Works with Harish Shankar of Mirapakai fame as the director. Kajal Agarwal is to play the love interest for Pawan Kalyan in this remake titled ‘Gabbar Singh’.

In Hindi, the film had Malaika Arora’s sizzling item number ‘Munni Badnaam’ that played a crucial part in the Dabangg's success. Now, a similar song is being planned for the Telugu version too as everyone involved believed that the magic cannot be recreated without it.

Initially, the filmmakers did approach Malaika Arora to shake her sexy legs even for 'Gabbar Singh', but due to her heavy remuneration, she d to be kept aside with our very own sex bomb Charmi been roped for the song after a titillating item number that she had done for the film ‘Ragada’ that drove the audience applaude for more of her hotness.

The role of the cop's brother would be played by Srikanth while Krishnam Raju and Jayasudha are likely to play his parents.

The film would have Devi Sri Prasad scoring again for Pawan Kalyan after ‘Jalsa’.

Mallika to do a "Sheila" act

After Malaika Arora Khan and Katrina Kaif, its Mallika Sherawat's turn to display her sultry moves in a desi-themed item song, which have become the latest craze in Bollywood post 'Munni' and 'Sheila'.

Sherawat, who stars in the Reliance Entertainment and Maruti International's 'Double Dhamaal', directed by Inder Kumar, has shot for a steamy item number titled 'Jalebi Bai'.

The four day schedule of the song was shot at Mehboob Studios, where a lavish set of a casino was created to give the song the right look and feel. "She's got her enticing moves right and is sure to give the Munnis and the Sheilas a run for their money!," a source said.

The song has been choreographed by ace dance master Ganesh Acharya and music is by Anand Raj Anand.

The movie is slated to hit theatres this June.

This is not the only item number from Sherawat this year. Before this number, there was news that the 'Hisss' actress would out-sizzle Munni and Sheila in the item number, 'Razia' for the Salman Khan starrer, 'Ready'.

Mallika's Razia or Deepika's Mit Jaye Gham

Hot item songs have become the order of the day, yet again. In between, item songs had gone extinct in Hindi films, but after 'Munni' (Dabangg) and 'Sheila' (Tees Maar Khan), item songs are back and how! In fact, several film-makers attempting masala films are ensuring that there's scope for at least one item number in the film.

What's even more surprising is the fact that the top league actors are more than enthusiastic when it comes to featuring in item songs, looking at the popularity of these numbers.

Mallika Sherawat's 'Razia' from Thank You and Deepika Padukone's 'Dum Maaro Dum' from Dum Maaro Dum have just been released, while David Dhawan has just filmed an item song on Sanju and Lisa Haydon for Rascals and Ready will feature a song on -- you guessed it right -- Salman Khan.

That's not all, there's talk that SRK will feature in an item song in his home-production Always Kabhi Kabhi, directed by Roshan Abbas.
