Poonam Pandey on Khatron ke Khiladi 4

Model Poonam Pandey, who grabbed headlines after declaring that she will strip in public if the Indian cricket team won the World Cup, will be among the 13 celebrity contestants in Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi - Torchar.

Apart from Pandey, actresses Aarti Chhabria and Kashmira Shah, Sambhavna Seth, former national women cricket team skipper Anjum Chopra, TV stars Aashka Goradiya and Smita Bansal, are the other prominent names who will be seen in the fourth season of the reality show.

Models Diandra Soares and Aliesia Raut, Dina Singh, wife of Vindoo Dara Singh, VJ Bani, VJ Mia Uyeda and singer Mauli Dave will take part in the show, along with 13 men from various walks of life.

Actor Akshay Kumar, who had hosted the first two editions of the action-based programme, will return as the host for the fourth edition which will be shot in Cape Town in South Africa.

Actress Priyanka Chopra had hosted the previous season of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi.

The show will be aired on Colors from May.

Making the announcement here this evening, Ashvini Yardy, head of programming Colors, said, "The fourth season is going to be more torturous and dangerous than the earlier ones. Hence the name Torchaar."

Reportedly, Poonam Pandey will soon be seen featuring in the adventurous reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4' on Colors, to be hosted by the Bollywood Khiladi himself, Akshay Kumar.

Poonam ditches 'Comedy Ka Maha Muqqabla' for 'KKK 4'

You might find difficult to digest that Poonam was all set to begin the shoot for the humorous reality show 'Comedy Ka Maha Muqqabla' on Star Plus from April 11.

However, she dodged the show at the end moment alleging that she was contractually bound by the channel in question for 'KKK 4.'

A source familiar with the matter told TOI, “Poonam was all set to shoot with us starting Monday and her entry was expected to air in the ninth episode but we just received an e-mail that she can't do the show as she is exclusively bound by the channel that airs Khatron Ke Khiladi.”

While a source from the Colors channel revealed, “There were two to three names like Maria Gorretti and Veena Malik which weren't locked. We contacted Poonam after things didn't work out between the channel and the already approached names. She was signed on last night."

The 19-year-old hottie has been tweeting, on the micro-blogging site Twitter, since yesterday about a “suspense” that she will be revealing soon.

She wrote, “We all live in suspense from day to day; in other words, you are the hero of your own story.”

“Hey guyz whtz up? u Sounding bit Disappointed, dont be so.. i will be Back in Action.. Just stay tuned ... muaaaah Luv u all!!!!!!!!!!!,” she later added.

“Will open the Suspense soon!!!,” the model posted two hours ago.

Mulling over the latest reports about Poonam starring on 'KKK 4,' it seems her suspense has been revealed.

The other contestants, who will be seen competing for the 50 lakh prize money are VJ Bani, former cricketer Anju Chopra, reality show singer Mauli Dave, models Alesia Raut and Diandra Soares, Kashmera Shah, Aarti Chhabria and Dina Umarova (Vindoo Dara Singh's wife).

'Khatron Ke Khiladi 4' is all set to go on floors in the third week of April in Cape Town.

Kashmera, Sambhavna, Celina Jaitley on KKK 4

Apart from Vindu Dara Singh’s wife Dina and MTV VJ Bani, supposedly the new girl in actor Shahid Kapoor’s life, we’ve stumbled across at least four other names in contention for the Season Four of Khatron Ke Khiladi. One of them is actor-dancer Kashmera Shah who was last seen semi-nude on a calendar, and on Love Lock-Up with boyfriend Krushna Abhishek.

Kashmera, along with another actor Aarti Chhabria, last seen in a desi avatar in the Manoj Bajpayee starrer, Dus Tola, and model Diandra Soares are expected to up the glam quotient.

The sixth name who was in the list of probables is Mauli Dave, discovered in 2007 on Zee TV’s reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and touted by judge Bappi Lahiri as the Indian Shakira.

Besides these six, seven other so-called celebrities are being lined up for Khatron Ke Khiladi Torchaar. It will see actor Akshay Kumar return as the anchor after a break last season when Priyanka Chopra came on to up the fear factor with 13 daring dudes.

If the buzzvine is to be believed, talks for the Colors show are on with Pakistani model-actor Veena Malik, who made her Indian telly debut in Bigg Boss 4 and model Lisa Hayden who made a big screen beginning in Aisha.

Actors Celina Jaitly, Payal Rohatgi and Shamita Shetty, item girl Sambhavna Seth and badminton player Jwala Gutta are some of the others. Actor-anchor Maria Goretti, who is Arshad Warsi’s wife, fashion designer Masaba Gupta who is Neena Gupta’s daughter and actor Shaurya Chauhan have apparently turned down the show. A channel insider informs that since Rakhi Sawant dropped out, Kashmera Shah stepped in.

The show goes on the floors around April 20 in Cape Town, South Africa, and will be shot in a start-to-finish 20-odd day schedule. It will go on air towards the end of May or the first half of June. Contracts are expected to be sealed by the end of the week.

Bhojpuri item girl Sambhavna!!

Item girl Sambhavna Seth, who became a household name with Bigg Boss, prefers Navratan Tel to Zandu Balm! This Bhojpuri actress has just done a take-off on the popular Munni badnaam hui song but instead of the pain relief balm, she propagates the oil for Jung, a Bhojpuri film. Says Sambhavna, “It’s a cool number. The situation in the film is that the hero has to go and free somebody from the villain’s den. He takes me along to sing and dance to distract the guys. I enjoyed the dance because this song is already iconic in Hindi and the dance is very rustic.

I found the Navratan Tel replacing Zandu very amusing. In any case, putting the oil on the head, it is supposed to give peace.” For those who are interested, here are the bawdy lyrics, Murgaa badnaam hua murgee tere liye: Shah Rukh bhee lagaye Amitabh bhee lagaye: Chupke se kaam hua navratan tel lagaye ke. Needless to say, Sambhavna is hoping the song will be as popular in Bhojpuri.
