Yuvraj dating Ameesha

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh gave Ameesha Patel special tickets to the World Cup finals between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede stadium.

With that one stroke, the all-rounder must've broken several hearts. That said, given the long line of B-Town beauties on Yuvi's arm, is Ameesha the latest maiden to be bowled over? It sure seems to be.

Ameesha confirms, "Yuvi is a good friend and he invited me." And if there was any doubt about her special friendship with the cricketer, the words of gushing praise give a clear indication.

"Yuvi bowled, fielded and batted superbly on Saturday.
When he almost got run out I screamed the loudest! Saif (Ali Khan) and Ranbir (Kapoor), who were in the same box, looked at me as if I was mad because I was making them so nervous."

The actress sat in the specially reserved ICC Hospitality Box near the pavilion says, "People kept asking me to quiet down as I was the most boisterous. I kept shouting for Yuvi to play stably."

She wanted to meet Yuvraj after the end of play, but the crowds were hysterical by then. "It took me three hours to get home," she says.

Amisha, Neha want a piece of Yuvraj

There are new additions to the 'actress friends' list of the Man Of The Series Yuvraj Singh. First, Amisha Patel made headlines with his special invite to her to see the match and then party with him.

Now it seems Neha Dhupia too partied with him. And strangely, the picture got leaked to the media. Now, we are sure that our girls don't do such stuff for publicity but well, they certainly aren't minding the attention from the Bad Boy of Indian cricket.

At the post final felicitation, when Yuvi was asked what all he would do now, he had said, "Tonight's gonna be a good night." It indeed was for him!

B-town parties with Sachin Tendulkar

The euphoria following the World Cup victory is hard to describe in words. Right from the common man to high profile celebrities, all are still busy celebrating Team India's success in their own sweet way.

The 'Men In Blue' too have been partying hard ever since they bagged the Cup that Counts. 'Master Blaster'- Sachin Tendulkar, for whom it has been a life-long dream that has finally been accomplished, too had a bash for his close friends. The bash, organised by restaurateur Sanjay Narang, saw a lot of B-town celebs in attendance.

Among the big names who made it to the bash were Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aamir Khan with Kiran Rao, Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar and Eesha Koppikhar. Among the cricketers, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan made it to the bash.

For a change, the B-town stars themselves turned into star-struck fans as they waited for an opportunity to pose with Sachin Tendulkar.

KJo posted his pic with Sachin on Twitter and said, "Had to tweet this!!! My big moment with the legend of all legends!!!"

Shahid Kapoor too was all starry eyed when he came to face with the God of Cricket. The actor tweeted, "What a man!!!!! Privileged to be by his side!!"

Eesha Koppikhar too only had words of praise for the Little Master. The actress tweeted, "What a moment to pose with you. Team India n u have made us proud."

Aamir Khan's party for Sachin

The cricket fever is yet to subside and the players are still pinching themselves as they cannot believe that they have actually bought home the cup this World Cup and that they would go down in history. Bollywood too is celebrating the win and parties are being thrown in tinsel town for Dhoni and company and all of them are enjoying the joy of winning. Like Bollywood’s one of the most sought after Khan, Aamir Khan is throwing friend and neighbor Sachin Tendulkar a dinner party.

A source confirmed the news that Aamir would soon throw a dinner party for the master blaster and after that a lunch for the entire family would follow the dinner. Although nothing has been fixed, however everything would depend on the availability of Sachin and his free time.

Apart from this other actors are also thinking of throwing parties for their cricketer friends to commemorate their win over the Sri lankans. John Abraham who is a dear friend of Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni wishes to do the same. According to a source, “John was there at Dhoni’s wedding. He’s always been there with Dhoni at most important events. The only problem is that Bipasha too is friends with Dhoni. Given their current relationship status, it seems John’s party may not have Bipasha in it. Southpaw Yuvraj Singh may also be present at the party.” Well, lets see whether the hot actress and ex beau Bipasha makes to the list or not.

When everyone is celebrating and throwing parties then it is a little strange that SRK is not doing anything. But we know the reason that currently the Badshah is very busy with the 20-20 cricket tournament. However he might just take a day off and throw a bash for Yuvraj.

Yuvi & Ameesha or Yuvi & Neha?

Media is now abuzz with the talks of Amisha Patel and Yuvraj Singh’s friendship. Amisha was the special guest of Yuvraj Singh at the final match between India and Sri Lanka on Saturday at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. While Amisha enjoyed the match, another Bollywood hottie got clicked with Yuvraj. Neha Dhupia also shared a Yuvi moment and posted an image of her with the star-cricketer on Twitter.

Though many viewers must have missed the sight of Amisha cheering Team India in the finals, the actress confirms that Yuvraj invited her for the thrilling final. During the match Amisha also made other stars (Ranbir Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan) in the box nervous with her loud shouts.

But the actress couldn’t meet Yuvraj after the match. The crowd was going berserk and she rushed back to her home. If Amisha couldn’t make it, Neha did. The actress caught up with Yuvi at some party or a celebration, and didn’t miss the chance to get a photograph with the World Cup hero. She posted an image with Yuvi on her twitter page and wrote, “And the Cricket fever continues With @yuvsingh09...”

No matter what, the dashing cricketer from Punjab remains the hot favourite of Bolly haseenas.

After Aanchal and Anusha, its Ameesha now

Remember Yuvraj Singh wanted to win the World Cup for a special one? Well, seems like the lady who inspired the ace cricketer to do his best is none other than actor Ameesha Patel. Reason?

Ameesha Patel was Yuvraj's special guest in ICC's hospitality box. Apparently, the cricketer gifted his s

pecial tickets to the World Cup finals between India and Sri Lanka at Wankhede stadium to the actress.

"Yuvi is a good friend and he invited me. Yuvi bowled, fielded and batted superbly on Saturday. When he almost got run out I screamed the loudest!" Patel told Mid Day.

Indeed, her screams were rather loud, much to the displeasure of co-actors Ranbir Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who had to ask the lady to zip it.

"Saif (Ali Khan) and Ranbir (Kapoor), who were in the same box, looked at me as if I was mad because I was making them so nervous. People kept asking me to quiet down, as I was the most boisterous. I kept shouting for Yuvi to play stably." she added.

That's not all! Patel was desperate to meet Yuvraj as well though that was not possible as the crowds were delirious.

And here's what she thinks of the other cricketers:

Gautam Gambhir: "We all wanted him to complete his 100 and all stood up and clapped when he got out as he played fabulously."

Sachin Tendulkar: "I find him too cute. When he got out, we all thought we had lost the match."

Lasith Malinga: "I just love him. I'm dying to meet him and give him a hug and a kiss. I find him very interesting and unconventional."

Shilpa cries after seeing Yuvi cry

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty found it hard to control her emotions after India won the cricket World Cup Saturday. She broke down in tears when she saw Yuvraj cry.

'I can't control my emotions!! Yay India won. It's a wonderful feeling. It was an emotional moment. When I saw Yuvraj (Singh) cry, I also started crying because I have experienced this myself,' Shilpa, who owns Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals, told a news channel.

'The way India played together with maturity was superb,' said the 35-year-old actress.

She even recalled the day when India had won the World Cup title in 1983, saying her father had also cried at that time.

'We were very small when India won its first World Cup 28 years back, but I remember my father had also cried at that time. All those emotions came back one again.'

Anusha cheering for Yuvraj

He may be a bit of a himbo (Mr Bimbo, silly!), but there is no denying that this Chandigarh charmer has some serious style. That mischievous smile has bowled over quite a few maidens. Kim Sharma slow and unsteady, the Deepika Padukone tug of war with the skipper, a fling with model Aanchal Kumar, those jhappis from ex-IPL team boss Preity Zinta... we keep count Yuvi. Win us the Cup and we will stop!

On Thursday night, after winning the Man of the Match award against Australia, cricketer Yuvraj Singh said, “I am playing this tournament for a special person. That person always comes into my mind when I am in a ‘pressure situation’.” Speculation is rife that it may well be reported ex-girlfriend VJ Anusha Dandekar, who was at the stadium and has been seen with Yuvi a lot lately. Some say it could even be Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvi says he’ll tell all if India wins the World Cup.
